Test is done. I'll know in 6 weeks if I actually passed. Lot's to say, but I'm sorry...I have to go to Hawaii right now. See ya! :)

Hmmm....
Patient: A terminally ill patient requests physician assistance in ending his life.
Doctor: Refuse involvement in any form of euthanasia (physician-assisted suicide).
Doctor: Physician may, however, prescribe medically appropriate analgesics that coincidentally shorten the patient's life.
Does this seem like the kind of power I should have? I think I'd prescribe placebo the first time just to make sure that they really wanted to end things. Really, this just all makes my internal-lawyer do back-flips. (Hope you're happy about that dad.) Actually, it's the having to refuse involvement that I take issue with. I guess I better move to Oregon. Oh, and I should point out that euthanasia is not the same as physician assisted suicide. But that's another topic.

I spent a couple of hours in a histology review presented by my histo-prof. We went through about 300 slides in about 2 hours. All I can see now is salt and pepper nuclei, coffee bean nuclei, nutmeg liver, chocolate cytes...do you get the idea that pathologists are obsessed with food? Some of the associations they make are not only highly questionable, but also a little on the sick side!
